Frequency Specific Microcurrent

What is Frequency Specific Microcurrent Therapy?

Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM) uses electromagnetic pulses on two channels firing at the same time for more specific and targeted therapy. The electrical current is very gentle at one millionth of an ampere. Frequency specific treatment vibrates a frequency that resonates with specific tissue enough to change its chemical structure, from one that causes tension, pain, immobility, to a different more stable state with greater movement and decreased pain.

Specific frequencies have been clinically observed to address over 200 conditions involving inflammation, tissue repair and pain, as well as, less common conditions such as shingles and polio virus. FSM is known to significantly increase the body’s production of ATP in injured tissues and beta-endorphins in the body. FSM is known to decrease inflammatory cytokines (IL-1, IL-6, TNF-alpha) and substance P, thus decrease pain.

Treatment involves patient lying in comfortable clothing with warmed-damp towels strategically placed, depending on condition(s) being addressed. Towels are connected to FSM machine while a painless and low risk current flows through treatment area. Treatment typically lasts anywhere from 30 to 120 minutes.

FSM does not claim to diagnose or treat any medical conditions.
